Hi,
I was accepted by WashU the other day, and I am still waiting to hear from U.Va. I was curious if anybody on here has transfered into WashU or goes to WashU and could say somethings about the student body and also greek life. My current school is very apatheic and does not have much to do on campus or in the town. I desperatley want to be at a school that has a lot to do so I am not bored. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

When did you submit your app to WashU pumpkin?

I applied to UVA and WashU also.

I would to hear from Wash U as well. I'm applying to be a sophomore. My application was complete by early February, and in mid-Feb, they sent me a letter saying that they wanted my second semester grades first, which is way too late! So I contacted the office and asked for an earlier review and turned in midterm grades in March. I still haven't heard back yet though.

Well maybe their holding to their opinion that they want to see your semester grades. Just a guess.

My application was officialy completed march 15th and I heard back by march 29th. I was very impressed by the quick turnaround.
I also applied to (in no particular order) Duke, UNC, UVA, UMD, Tulane, Georgetown.

Hmm.. my app was completed March 8th. But then I decided to send midterm grades. Not sure when they actually got those, but I'm guessing that reset my app's response date.

I received my decision about 2 weeks after my application was complete. WUSTL is very quick. I only wish all schools were as fast.

Are (all of you who heard back from Wash U) you applying for sophomore year or junior year? I'm a first year at Mount Holyoke and am applying for sophomore year. I have good grades (3.85 college GPA, and will probably higher or same this semester), lots of good ECs (IVCF, two choirs, vice president of one choir, private vocal study, work-study job, and Mount Holyoke Protestant Community), good recs, and a great high school record (class leadership positions, 4.05 GPA at a rigorous college prep school, choir, piano for 9 yrs, academic league, graduated Cum Laude, etc.), . I have nothing really strange about my application, so I don't know why they're taking so long. It's driving my crazy. I think that I'm going to try to contact them and see what's going on.

I am currently a freshman and applied as an incoming sophmore.

I think that I got in! I haven't received a letter in the mail yet, but according to the applicant status website, I looked at the enrollment status. It's says that: "we have not received notice of your response to our offer of admission." Does this mean that I'm in!?!?!?
