-going to write about china (my dad came from a really poor place and i visit the village.. it really made me appreciate everything... though i must say, i couldnt survive living in 100 degree heat without AC or indoor plumbing)</p>

-should be good or great (from my chem, history, art, and other art teacher)</p>

<p>SUPPLEMENT:
-going to send in a few of my slides (taking ap studio art next year...so should be good?)</p>

<p>You are an OTM with no special ECs and average stats for top schools, that will make them very hard next year.</p>

<p>You need a much more balanced list.</p>

<p>How is having paintings inside national institutions, third in a national chinese painting competition, 13 years of art, art galleries and founder of the art honor society not special?</p>

<p>If anything, it's certainly a passion that shows.</p>

<p>You'll want to apply to a wider range of schools, those are all competitive, but I think that's just the top schools you wanted chances for.</p>

<p>I'm not sure how competitive UVA is, but if it's as hard to get in to as the rest, you should have a safety. That being said, however, I'm pretty confident you can get into at least one of the schools you listed.</p>
