Watch out, Tulane!

D and DW on their way to NOLA this weekend. The town will never be the same.

So excited. I hope they love Tulane. D has an overnight set up with another lover of winter sports, so that should be helpful for the child who loves skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. In many ways, TU is a very good fit on paper, but now for the real test: the Very Particular D.

Ahhh…I have one of those Very Particular D’s as well! We arrive in NOLA late morning Saturday and depart early evening on Monday. SO excited! :)

Weather forecast looks decent. Some rain Sunday, mild temps. Pretty typical NOLA for this time of year. Looks good for Saturday though, if the rain can hold off a little.

It’s ridiculously cold and windy here in DC/MD! Looking forward to some warmth, rain NOT a problem! :)

I look forward to reading about your visits, cheermom20878 and jkeil911. Last year at this time DD and I attended honors weekend. Before the trip, Tulane was a distant 4th choice. We rode the street car up to campus, attended the programs, and that was it! DD is enjoying Tulane very much.

We are on our way! Ended up having to drive as flying standby didn’t work out. Ugh! We’ll be in Nola in time for a late lunch and a visit to Frenchman st tonight!

Italian American parade in French Quarter tonight at 6:00! <a href=“St. Patrick's Day New Orleans Parade Information”>http://www.stpatricksdayneworleans.com/st-josephs-day-parade.html</a></p>

I sent that notice to D and DW, dolphnlvr, and they got down there in time to score necklaces. Had a grand time. Just wanted you to know that somebody took you up on your post and had a good time because of it.

I’m so glad! I usually take my ASB students to that parade and they always have such a good time. It’s a small parade but it’s fun to get up close and personal ! Glad they are having a good time, can’t wait to hear their full report!
