Watch

Do you use silent watch while taking exam? Have you found one that is easy to use? Can you post link? I think it will be helpful to know how you are doing time wise. What do you think?

Having a watch is important while taking the ACT, but time management is more important. So although a watch is important, watching a clock in a room is just as effective.

I bought one of these:

[Testing Timers ? aTest Timer (ACT®)](http://testingtimers.com/)

Extremely helpful. Had no issues with time, really. Pacing was simple while using it.

did you improving your score using that watch @Nspire? If so, can you state your improvements?

I’ve taken it twice, never without it. Certainly helped me with timing though. It has a nice border effect that adjusts for each test (for instance, it shows when you should be on question 20, 30, 40, etc, or whatever the interval is for math). For reading, it shows you when you should be done with each passage. Typically I was a little bit ahead of it and never worried about time in any of the sections.

Thanks Nspire for this link. I had never heard of these testing timers before, but always wanted something just like this. I think this will help me tremendously.
