hehe, no sweat. just trying to shed some light on the awesomeness that is the KP crew team, that's all. our sailing team is one of the best, bar none. either way the KP waterfront is awesome!

KP RULES THE WATERFRONT !!!

BEAT Navy !!

Word is from Offshore
50 mile overnight race tonight
on Elan Farr 395
starting at 7PM

SUNDAY
is day PLEBES will get chance
to sail offshore
in races off KP

Tell your Plebe to be down there on time (early)
on Sunday
Best time to MAKE team

Ive got 3rd Classman
looking for them

Go KP Offshore !!

Let's hear it for the Power Squad!! LOL...might as well stir the pot. By the way, does Power Squad wear spandex? :D

they wear board shorts, drink pepsi, and listen to jimmy buffet.

Wow. Think of the dedication THAT must take.. Hmmm. Let's see....
Get up several hours before dawn, run a marathon (while sitting down and moving an oar around). [Sweat like mad, sleep thru Calculus]
-or-
Put on shorts, get a six-pack of Pepsi, and ponder over the significance of which Jimmy Buffet song would capture the essence of world at this instant.. [ And which song is good background for finishing that last Harry Potter book]..

Hmmmm. Will have to give that some thought. :)

Also, SuzanneGra, is your question about wearing Spandex... Would that be a Plus, or a Negative?

And besides, Crew is not going to give grief to Power Squadron, cause if those guys WERE to get up early enough, they could run straight over those little balsa-wood shells ! ;)

power squadron ?
somehow Im getting a quirky vision of "McHales Navy"
and crew?
a worrisome flashback of "Love Story"
but offshore
this video sums it up

Hope your plebes go on boat this morning !!!

Just heard from our son that the sailing team came in 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th in the Regatta

Dinghy sailors are pumped up and getting some good publicity right up there with the best of the best! Check it out Sailing World magazine - 6th paragraph:

ROCK ON--MMAMom2011's son!!!!

Good article!

Does anyone know who may be responsible to update
the WATERFRONT athletics webpage

http://www.usmma.edu/waterfront/default.htm

Its got a decent layout
but hasnt been updated since April

Offshore team listing says 2005
although I know the team to be 2006
etc etc etc

Navy page seems to be updated weekly
cant we do the same ?
Its just a few keystrokes
