Way to tell Early?

Clemson just posted on Twitter that all of its acceptance letters have been taken to USPS.

All of our #Clemson admission decisions are at to the USPS! #TigertownBound students and @BridgeToClemson students-- great news is on the way!

The unavailable messages most likely will not change if their decisions are finalized and the letters were sent today. Which unfortunately means I was denied… nice.

@jkirsy I’ve heard that they’re sending out the second wave tomorrow. So there might be hope for us. Do you think it would say “denied” instead of “unable to determine your application status”? I really hope we didn’t get denied!

@apatel21 I would assume if they’re sending out today and tomorrow the decisions are finalized and in their system. I sure hope I’m wrong, but it would make sense that they’re done and sending out letters now

@jkirsy I guess time will tell.

@apatel21 where did you hear they were mailing yesterday AND today?

Not sure if it means anything but…when I went to put D’s XID number in to the site it’s still says "unable to Process " but when I hit the “help now” key it says that I’ve reached “the old website that is being decommissioned” it then sends me to a new site. Can’t find a spot to enter her ID though.
So I’m not sure how accurate the “old” site is.
Maybe there’s still hope for everyone?
At this point I’m just waiting for the BIG envelope:)
Prob still not gonna happen but there’s still hope.
Good luck to everyone.

@simple0920 The president of Clemson tweeted it yesterday and CU posted it on their IG and Twitter that they’ve been sent out today.

Has anyone tried the Clemson bridge interest? I was expecting to get in the bridge program but it showed that my status are not eligible. Clemson is my top1 and I really hope that I can get in. :((

@Collegedad33 The website that was decommissioned is the help website, not the original place you put in your XID. The new website you clicked on on the decommissioned one is the newer IT website

Do y’all think if it takes you to the verification code that you got into Clemson, or that means you either got into clemson or the bridge to clemson?

@jkirsy Yep. Thanks for reply. I think it was just a glitch at the time I was trying to access. Oh well. We’ll know for sure in a couple of days. Still getting the same old message.

D’s says unavailable too -Oh No
Wish I hadn’t had her look

Anyone get an email within last couple of days? Let’s hope they have the online system turning on, so to speak, on Monday morning (to enter XID). Maybe they can set it for a certain time and date, knowing that is when earliest letters would be received but no earlier.

One more comment…I am already stressing to my son that the silver lining if he doesn’t get in is that Clemson costs the most for us. Most everywhere else he’s still interested in is either in state or offering some $$. I know Clemson will not, and so be $10-12K more per year. That info. will soften the blow at little I think.

I have been busy looking for reasons that Clemson is not the right choice for DD…I have come up with some valid reasons, but it still is gonna hurt I think. I hope I am wrong, I hope this early “tell” is inaccurate or inconsistent and she gets a nice big tigertown bound envelope. I hope it is accurate for those of you getting the activation code prompt and I hope everyone ends up at a place they love!

Everyone take a deep breath. If you have the activation code, it looks like a good sign. If you don’t, you don’t know. None of us knows the process. Just because the letter has gone out doesn’t mean they’ve already entered everything in the computer…It is very possible they will still be assigning activation codes next week…Just because the letters went out after 5:00 on a Friday, doesn’t mean some other department had time to generate all the activation codes for all the majors. Maybe they did. Maybe they didn’t.

My son got his email with activation code 2 days after his letter was mailed…who knows if it had actually been entered into the computer on the day it was mailed. And the reason he got it two days later is that it was the last day before Christmas break so they probably decided to send a bunch of emails at once. His letter didn’t arrive for another week. I guess the point is that depending on what kind of deadlines each of the departments are up against, you just don’t know.

Hang in there.

If you get the enter the activation code thing, do y’all think that means you got into Clemson or does that mean you got into Clemson or the bridge program?

@jpip10000 I have no idea. Could mean either.

@TexasStudent2018 wouldn’t you assume they’d have all their ducks in a row before they sent out the mass majority of acceptances/denials?
