@jpip10000, I’ve been trying to find that out for my DD too. According to old threads here on Clemson’s bridge program, some of those that didn’t accept the bridge program had a chance to be waitlisted/deferred. From that conclusion, I would lean towards an acceptance into Clemson. Again, it isn’t 100% guaranteed until we see that tigerbound package first, just that the odds are higher. And if that’s true, then those without the activation code might still be updated as some have noted or given acceptance into the bridge program.
And like some of you have said, hopefully everyone has applied at other schools, and not lean too much on one. DD has been accepted UofSC and KU. She’s also applied to 4 UC’s (all in southern California) as we have family there and those results won’t be here until at least mid-March. Good luck to everyone.
**We’re in-state, so I’ll update if DD has received anything from Clemson by Monday/Tuesday. If they were sent out last night, USPS should have it here by then.
@DDclass2018 how funny, we’re in So Cal waiting on Clemson like yesterday’s dinner… only applied to 2 CA schools S18 wanted to leave CA desperately but now thinking he should of applied to more locals. Already accepted at Elon, Baylor and CBU (California Baptist). He applied back in early September and is a legacy with comparable scores/grades. Please post if you get something on Monday! Good luck.
@moparmom, That’s interesting. We’ve got family in Moval. I graduated from UCRiverside so had my DD apply there as well as UCSD, UCSB, and her reach school UCLA. I’m pushing her for a move there, but if she gets the big package at Clemson this week, then I don’t she’s changing her mind.
@jpip10000 had a link to Clemson’s bridge program. The link is https://iroarservices.app.clemson.edu/bridgeinterest/. I’ve tried my DD’s XID into it and it says that the application does not have eligible status for the Bridge to Clemson Program, so I don’t know if there is another outcome to it.
I just tried the Bridge link with my son’s XID and it worked. It gave me the interest screen and mentioned $750 deposit due by March 1. My guess is the link does work! But waiting on the orange envelope!!!
@LDV0620 Original Poster here
i just tryed putting my xid into the link you posted and got a messeged that said “Our records indicate that your application currently does not have an eligible status for the Bridge to Clemson Program.” this is all very confusing lol.
i am OOS btw the way
Have have you tried the first link, housing at Clemson? With that one, we got unable to determine acceptance status. You may have gotten accepted to Clemson and not bridge program
@RicFlairDrip , I think the activation code comes with the follow on email that would come when you are accepted. If you get to the point on the Housing website page where you enter XID and it takes you to where you’d put in activation code, that seems to be a very good sign. Most of us are still getting “Our records indicate…not eligible…” after entering XID.
@Rossm2000 - you are smart! I followed your directions and got the same message you did a few days ago. (Encouraging for sure, but who knows?!) Today an envelope that was large & orange arrived! So happy. That was absolutely the best single “tip” that I have rec’d on this CC site. Good sleuthing & thanks for sharing. This is a stressful period - so I just wanted to say thanks!
