Wayne State doesn’t have the Medstart program anymore. I applied to the Med-direct program. This is the first thread. Did anyone apply? What are ur stats?

I submitted my application last week. I really want a confirmation letter in the e-mail stating that I submitted everything. This is going to be really competitive. Are you guys from out-of-state?

Got the notification yesterday. Son is moving on to the interview process at the end of the month.
@Thparent do you know if they’re still sending out notifications?
Received my notification last night, as well. I’m completely ecstatic!!!
I didn’t get in. I have a 4.0 and a 30 on the ACT. I had a lot of activities and good essays. I’m feeling really sad at this point 
@Thparent I spoke with someone on the committee today and he said that the college would cover travel expenses for the student as well as a hotel room that a parent can stay in with the child. Somebody should be contacting us soon. I’m so glad because I had no idea how I would afford the travel.
@16jpatel I applied to many programs and this is the first interview I’ve received, so I get it.
I made it to the interview! I called Wayne State a few days ago, and they said that less than 30 people got in. Do any of you guys know how many?
