I know that Emory values applicants who have shown interest in the school. What is the best way I can go about showing this interest? I am junior right now and I live in Georgia.

Hi gthopeful93,
If you can pull up the supplement this year they requested dates of this type of information which demonstrates interest that you attended:

college fair
college visit at your school
campus tour and presentation
college program in a hotel if available
interviews if they are available
you might consider attending an Emory camp or Emory high school activity this summer
getting to know the rep for your area

Emory also asked if you knew people that attended relatives, friends, faculty, etc.

Obviously another significant DI is to apply ED with everything above in place, and when you write the Why Emory essay to show you have done your research and really know why you want to go to Emory.

You are close by Emory, so you will be able to easily visit and perhaps do some additional things. Good luck!

Visit the campus and take the tour. Emory is one of those schools that really want you to “show the love”.
