Does anyone have a system where you promise yourself that if you get so many problems done or so many paragraphs written then you can have a break or surf the web for a time period as a distraction limitor? I'm reading Heart of Darkness, and try to start reading, bit I just want to quit after reading one
Page because of the difficulty. I have a bajillion other summer assignments, too, that I just can't seem to focus on or get any actual work done. There's the distraction of my iPod touch which has things like email, Facebook, twitter, CC of course, games, pictures, and a lot of other time-killing stuff. My school starts in 2.5 weeks and I need to get a system going to actually get work done (8 pg report for AP calculus about calculus contributing mathematicians, a 3+ page response to the constitution and a 200-pg article about it--New Views of the Constitution--look it up o.0 for AP US Gov/Pol, a poem analysis, and 4 4-pg worksheets analyzing Heart of Darkness, Lord of the Flies, and two other books I've read already) 0___0

Don't just tell me "then get off CC and do it" because that doesnt work for chronic procrastinaters like me.

What do recommend so that I can jet my work done? Thankssss! :)
