Ways to pay

Anyone know how i can pay if i have no parental support?

If parents are able to pay (according to FAFSA) and are unwilling, you have limited options --

live at home and attend community college for two years, then transfer

apply to lower tier schools that will offer you a full ride:

Apply to a military service academy

Apply for an ROTC scholarship

Apply for outside scholarships

Attend a low-cost, instate university and work during the school year and summers plus borrow money

work until you turn 24 (at that time you would be financially independent for college aid)

combine several strategies above

If your parents are simply not able to pay (very low EFC according to profile and FAFSA) then you have a few more options in addition to the ones posted above:

apply to schools that are need-blind and promise to meet need 100%

combine merit aid and financial aid at schools where your stats are in the top 20% range

look into programs and scholarships for low-income students -- there are tons.
