It was a tough decision between the Jesuits, Vincentians and Dominicans but my S decided today to enroll at SJU!

We are coming to Accepted Students Day on Saturday to drop off his deposit and pick up some SJU gear. So excited to finally nail down which sticker will grace my car!!!

Thanks! It was really close and I was a little surprised bc the free T-shirt count was Marquette-2, Molloy-1, SJU-0! But apparently it was his overnight and acceptance into the Catholic Scholars program that sold him on SJU. He’s still holding out hope for a free T on Saturday!

And I have since learned that saying “We are Red” might not be the best way to announce his decision as S1 thought we were communists! :))

Congrats to you and your son, sandkmom! Don’t know if he got a free tee shirt at accepted students day today, but they do give free sweatshirts and umbrellas at orientation (they did last year). I wish your son all the best!

The accepted students day couldn’t have been held on a nicer day! The weather was so fabulous and the Great Lawn was filled with food vendors and a DJ. It was quite the reception. Some of the Catholic Scholars my S met at his overnight were at the Campus Ministry table and they remembered him and were so excited he was coming…everyone was just so nice!

He did NOT get a free T-shirt though! He got earbuds, sunglasses and a flash drive but really, what can you complain about when they’re giving you a free computer?!! Plus he cleaned up at the bookstore. At least now we all have something to wear to the Big East tournament next year and it was a lot less than I would have spent on a computer!
