of course...

So who are the prospective ED Pratt folk?

Me me me... yay for Civil Engineering! I've heard a lot from Duke faculty about this field of study at Duke (he is actually one of my dad's best friends from Duke who is now a tenured BME prof @ Pratt) and I am SO excited to study CEE at Duke if I am given the chance...

i think a better question is who here is a legacy?

If sibling legacy counts... then yes.

Am I the only one?

EDIT: I think sibling legacy counts

DukeEgr- Do you know of the way the NROTC unit affects admissions?

Having one of the ROTC scholarships is a part of the materials that the admissions folks look at. The unit itself does not have a direct involvement, but they do pass along the information about who is on the "short list" for getting the scholarship to a particular school. Have we already talked about NROTC? That's how I went to Duke...

legacy - father and mother

Yes we have "talked" about NROTC... That's another thing I am excited about at Duke- Navy ROTC. They awarded me the four year Navy option scholarship to attend Duke; I understand that it becomes quite complicated to switch schools, so I have a $180,000 scholarship riding on Thursday's decision as well....

^Nice job on the ROTC scholarship!

i have absolutely no hook at all. bwah

I don't understand the whole "hook" business.

Thanks, Coola!

1 day earlier than last year, grr haha

^ Yea. Duke decided that extra day was superfluous... lol.

University of Pennsylvania finds out at 5:00 PM on the 14th also!

Good Luck to u guys! (I did ED Penn)

Today's the day, and already my stomach feels bad...

It's gonna be a long, long day...

:(

But hopefully - it'll be a happy long day.

:)

today actually passed surprisingly quickly!

yeah, it did, despite what i thought this morning.

now if only the last 78 minutes till d-time would
