Have any of you heard of

T3-YHS
T6-T3+CCN
T10-T6+UVA MICH BOALT and Penn
T14-Duh
T16-UCLA and UT +T14

What do they mean?

I've heard UCLA and UT place their top grads nationally as well and that T7-14 are more regionally biased than the T6 schools

Even parts of your T6 seem highly regionally based...

I can't imagine NYU has a large presence outside the Northeast, whereas a school such as Duke/UMich/Cal might have a wider regional bent.

Who knows, I could be just talking out of my ass.

That's roughly right. UCLA & UT are usually considered more regional than the others.

Isn't that a myth though Hanna? I've heard that UT does not do worse in national placement than some lower T14 schools and that the reason T14 is T14 is because they were every year in the USN&WR.
