Congratulations to everyone who got in.
Cornell Class of 2013!! Woot.
So where do you guys want housing?
Are you guys considering sororities/fraternities ( although i believe freshman can't rush..?)
Anyone going to Cornell Days?!
Anyone a recruited athlete?

**** yeah motha *****

Yay, Cornell 2013! We get our own discussion board! It's almost unbelievable to have made it to this point... lol I cried so hard when the decision came in. What are Cornell Days, by the way? I don't think I'm going to rush, if freshmen can, just because I really want to focus on the rigorous courseload that's going to come our way. And housing... to be honest I haven't looked into it that much yet. What about the rest of the future Cornellians??

I'm probably going to Cornell Days.

is Cornell days the outdoors event?

When should we move onto campus? Where do we stay once we have moved in before the dorms are assigned?

I know that in my letter it said classes start on August 27th, and orientation is on August 21st, so I guess we move in sometime between those two events or even before. What schools did you guys get accepted into in cornell? I'm going to ILR.

I'll be at Cornell days for sure! :) Also, where are you guys from? I'm from NY.

Minnesota :) Can't be colder than -12 there can it?

Yeah I'm sure! My family and I went up for the ILR Open House in October and we were all wearing winter jackets! I guess we're putting thermals on our holiday gift lists!

What school are you going to be in?

I want to go to Cornell days so much! but I doubt I will.

...I'm all the way from CA & I haven't even received my acceptance letter yet.

don't worry about it! I live in NY and I just got mine Saturday.

yeah!
I'm from Georgia!
I'm going to visit Cornell this weekend actually. Probably not attending Cornell days because I do not want to miss school so that way i can exempt finals!
College of Engineering!! woo.

I want to rush sophmore year probably, but it's a good point about focusing on courseload..especially with adjusting from high school to college.

I got my acceptance letter today! :D
Now I just have to wait for everything else.

Freshmen can most definitely rush

Best socializing dorm is Donlon, but then again it's all about who's on your floor with you. Good luck guys!
from an awaiting RD applicant.

Hey, did anyone receive their financial aid packages yet?

Nope not yet. I called them and they said they're still processing a majority of them, so don't worry ^_^

oh good, I was starting to think that I wasn't getting anything! I know Governor Paterson is planning on increasing the price of SUNY tuition, so does anyone know how this could potentially impact cornellians on public side schools like ILR? I would think that since we're part of an ivy league that we'd probably be the first part of the budget to get slashed!

sweet!!

im from salem, NH

i got into the college of engineering
