Weak Overall GPA but Upward Trend?

<p>This is just a general question but how does that really work in the admissions process to highly selective schools?</p>

<p>To provide some insight:
9th grade: 85 uw
10th grade: 91 uw + 1 AP
11th grade: 98 uw + 2 APS</p>

<p>Overall:
92 weighted
90 unewighted</p>

<p>Depends, were those 3 APs all that was offered to you?</p>

<p>Yup my school limits APs and that’s awkward I meant 3 APs for Junior Year.</p>
