<p>One of my friends told me that he thought it was stupid to wear your class ring to college...</p>
<p>but i just got it and i loved my high school personally and i would love to wear it until i get tired of someday..</p>

<p>I have worn mine every day since I got it my junior year of high school. No one has ever said anything except "oh cool ring, can i see? where did you go to high school?". So wear it with pride. </p>
<p>On a side note, I think the main thing that people on this board are worried about are people caring about how they look, what they wear, or whatever in college. One of the main things I've learned (at least for my school) is that NO ONE cares. Or if they do, alot less care than in high school. So everyone can take their weird rug or strange hat or class ring to college and not have to worry!</p>
<p>Wear whatever you want. If you loved your high school there's no way you shouldn't be proud of where you've come from.</p>
<p>I sometimes don't wear my ring just because I'm afraid I'll lose it or it will get stolen, so I only wear it during important occasions. I go to school in Durham, and because I'm a guy my ring is very noticeable, so I'm always afraid I'll get mugged.</p>
<p>I don't know many people that even wore theirs in high school, and almost nobody that did in college, but nobody will really care if you do. Just do what you want, don't worry about it so much.</p>
<p>I didn't even buy a class ring...I loved HS, but I had other things to spend that money on ($300 for a ring? Puh-lease. Stupid Jostens.), and I figured I'll buy one in college.</p>
<p>Anyway...I don't think people would care. I'd probably wear mine if I had one.</p>
<p>I haven't really known too many people that own a class ring, or wear it in high school. In college, I don't think I have seen any class rings these past two years...the only ring I wear is my engagement ring, which is what I see most junior/seniors that wear a ring have.</p>
<p>I've never seen anyone that wore one. I might if it fit. Its way too big for me now though and just slides off. Don't really like my hs, but the ring is pretty.</p>
<p>I've never noticed anyone wearing a class ring before, then again, I'm rarely analyzing people's fingers.
If you want to wear it, go ahead. I doubt you'll be exiled over it.</p>
<p>I paid that much for a ring, damn straight I'll wear it until my finger falls off.</p>
