I'm sorry, i've lived in ann arbor for pretty much most of my life and if I had to sum up michigan weather in two words it would be "effin' horrible"

Especially if you're from cali, haha

I like Michigan weather, it's nice. You don't get to sled and go skiing as well as enjoy a white Christmas in the South. And it's actually nice in the fall/spring, not too cold. But yeah, for the person who said "I couldn't imagine 40 degrees!", maybe this isn't the place for you. There were days when a single digit was a high last winter, it was cold.

Mid-April - Mid January: Nice
Late to Mid-January - Early to Mid-April: Grey and depressing

Just stay inside and you are fine.

As long as you don't spend extended periods of time outside, the Umich temperatures will be fine for you.

Oh its so hard to wake up for class in the morning knowing you have to walk to class in 15 degree weather! yuck. Autumn is really pretty and early winter when it just starts to snow. But yeah, other than that it's pretty depressing.

i don't know.. i think it seems like a great change of pace from having the same weather all year round. maybe i wouldn't know how bad it is, but i'm willing to take that chance to go to a great school anywhere on the east coast or midwest.

"Then you wake up and it's the grayest day you've ever seen! And the next day, it's even grayer! And that's usually Valentine's Day, and that's the day you look at your wrists and go, 'Hey, maybe I should slit 'em to see color!' "
