Weather in NC

not being from the states, would anyone care to tell me what's the weather in UNC, i might be there for during the fall semester...

thanks,

Dan

I live close to Chapel Hill and can tell you that it is generally downright beautiful, especially in the spring and fall. The summer is maybe 70-85 F. Winter can be quite unpredictable, as evidenced by this past month: at the beginning of January we had over a week of spring-like weather, then it went down to below 30 F and we got some snow that completely gridlocked the whole city of Raleigh.
We do get some hurricanes too, but all in all we probably have (in my biased opinion) some of the best weather in the country.

oh, i would agree with the winter time, its way to unpredictable but during the summer i'd have to say it gets well about 85 degrees and with the humidity it can get pretty rough, during the july and august months i would have to say the temperature is usually around 90 or 95.

The Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area is very ... warm in the summers and moderately cold in the winters. Beware: UNC doesn't have air conditioning.

No thats not true, only some of the dorms don't have air conditioning and then its not the entire dorm but instead some suites. Most of the dorms, roughly around 60-65% have air conditioning(just a guesss)

The weather can change from hour to hour. The summers are usually pretty hot and very humid, but the springs and autumns can't be beat. You'll love it here.

Oh, wow, tarheel, I guess I was mistaken.
