With all the talk around Board of Trustees and their role (see NCF), you may find it interesting to see one in action. The below link is a webcast of UF BOT’s meeting on June 2022. It’s an all day event, and who has time to sit through that, but you can look at the agenda and jump around for the highlights.
At the 4:19 mark, or there about, the BOT gets an admissions update on the class of 2022. It includes stats on the Class of 2026, but it also gives you a quick view in what areas of focus or concern UF/BOT have around admissions. Seems a major focus is on YIELD (especially for OOS students). Also an interesting discussion around the female to male ratio (60% to 40%).
At 4:48 Dr. D’Andra Mull (Student Life) gives a presentation on “Student Experience”. Interesting discussion on the Pandemic and it’s impact. My be of some interest if you’re thinking of enrolling at UF.
