august 15 I think

anyone else?

the 16th. hah

mine is on august 15th at 6 pm.

mine is AUG 14,'06 at 08:30am

August 14th at 10:30AM here.

Anyone know how the times are allocated? Is it by major, alphabet, random chance or ??

by how many units you have

mine's on August 10th, 9:45AM. I duno why mine's earlier than everyone else's.

you are either in the campuswide honors program or you have around 70-80 units of college/AP credit. It is decided by how many units you have.. the more you have.. the earlier your window. Campuswide honors register first.. on August 10th.

Ok... so everyone post their times and units!

Me: August 14th 10:30AM, 40 units

August 10, biotch!

btw, I'm a transfer student, so I have a lot more credits than the average new student =) Like it matters much anyways; continuing students registered a loong time ago, so a lot of classes are already full/waitlisted/whathaveyou. Sucks.

chris.. how did u find out how many units u have?

August 16th, 10AM

I will be a second year in the fall and let me tell you, unless your in chp or an athlete, your enrollment window will be random. The only criteria they use is your year. As a freshmen, people with less units than me sometimes had an earlier window than me. I know admin says it goes by units, but that's not the entire truth. Last year, I had a great window, an ok one, and a terrible one for spring quarter.

Don't they rotate it by quarter? As in like, within a particular year, they make it so that you'll get a good window, an ok window, and a bad window, so that way everyone gets a chance at a decent window. I've heard of it done that way at other schools, at least. It was based on the last 4 digits of the social security number, I think (at least, before they stopped using those as student IDs).

I don't know where it shows exactly how many units you've accumulated, but I counted up my own from AP tests and college courses and I have 32 units.

My WEBREG starts Aug 14 @ 10AM. No clue how it's calculated. >.>

A few people's (including me) enrollment window dates/times changed. Someone on another forum got moved two days earlier. Mine only moved 30 minutes earlier, but how weird. why does this happen? (not that I'm complaining)

Yea... I was moved from Aug 15, 1 PM, to Aug 16, 2:30pm... I have about 33 units worth of college work mostly from a community college. This sucks...
