<p>Seriously, how can every class (needed for major) be closed within 20 minutes?</p>

<p>I can understand needing to do things in a timely fashion, but every section of a class should not be closed so quickly. wth.</p>

<p>Rutgers is well known for having one of the worst registration processes.</p>

<p>It really is bad. There is never even 1 seat left over in anything once everyone has registered. You can get stuff by stalking Webreg but you have to have the time to do it. </p>

<p>Rutgers housing and registration really **** me off as a parent.</p>

<p>My son registered and he had no problems, but his friend who is in SAS could not get 3 of the 5 classes he needed. I told him to keep stalking Webreg.</p>

<p>I registered yesterday at 10 pm, last batch to do so.</p>

<p>I got extremely lucky and got all my classes besides gen chem 2. I stayed up for two hours. After stalking, one section randomly opened up and I believe I got the last seat.</p>

<p>I had friends who got 1/5 classes, its pretty bad.</p>

<p>Im a freshman at Rutgers and this is all pretty surreal to me.</p>

<p>They just added a new section of social media and work (easy 1 credit online). It’s under Labor studies. It’s good if you have 2 odd credits floating around and you want to get that extra credit so you don’t have to take another 3 credit class to get to your minimum credits.</p>

<p>My son got another 2 class sections that he wanted in the past 24 hours it is a Thanksgiving miracle. He could not get on when registration opened up and had a horrible schedule. But then things popped up and new sections were opened. Now his schedule is pretty decent.</p>

<p>Do not give up! Check at odd times and especially after final grades come out (during winter break) and people start dropping classes because they don’t have the prerequisites completed.</p>

<p>Yeah Webreg seems hopeless now but wait until grades come out and things should open up. Just keep checking. Every time you look at your FB, check Webreg first. You never know when you will see that closed red section turn to green.</p>
