The other explanation is search indexing. Most search engines routinely crawl the web for new content to index. To avoid being indexed, you’ll need to insert a “noindex” tag in the HTML header. The Chinese hits are probably coming from bots or search engines just mining for new web pages. For details on how to disable this, see below.

Totally going out a whim here… but have you considered the fact that you are ALREADY IN?? Maybe they didn’t review it because they wanted to spend more time on candidates who were still in the air, but you were already a sure choice. Just a thought

I was told by an AO that the links/downloads/extra material in the application systems often do not work so all links, etc. should be separately emailed to the AO (plus coach or whomever it is relevant to). Possibly your link did not work and that’s why it wasn’t viewed.

I hope I am right though when I say you don’t need to be obsessing so much over these details. I just don’t think the admissions process works the way I see people stressing about it on CC (and I guess we won’t know until M9).

You are right.

Yeah that’s what an AO told me too.

Well, I get that it might mean nothing, but I can see that someone from one of my schools visited my website last night. Last night! I know it’s “reading tea leaves” but still…I feel like this means they’re still making decisions right down to the bitter end?

They wouldn’t be looking at your website unless there was some interest. I take this as an encouraging sign. You are probably in the running. School committees meet up until the last possible date. They even meet again after M10 for the waitlist kids.
