<p>I did Early Decision I to Lehigh and I logged onto the portal and while the Application Decision said that no decision was available, I scrolled down and saw a slide show that said "Congratulations on your acceptance to Lehigh!" I then logged back on later and now the slide show isn't there. I think my mom was moving windows around on the portal itself but I don't know if that could be why. Did anyone else go through the same thing?</p>
<p>In past years they also had this problem. They claim this often get sent out in error as it meant only for the Alumni to receive. It happened last year to my D who just happened to be checking through the website…not a happy camper as you might imagine when informed of the error. The next couple of weeks were torture for her and us. All you can do is just wait and pray. Good luck!</p>
<p>Although you shouldn’t get too excited, my D found out about her acceptance to Lehigh in advance because of a similar “glitch.” She had been taking a class at Lehigh, so she already had an account. When she logged in one day, the “Congratulations!” message popped up. A quick call to admissions confirmed it, although she was told that decisions had not been officially sent out.</p>
<p>yeah, I am not taking this as a yes/no. But hopefully a good sign! Does anyone know when the official date is? Ive heard the 15th and I have heard mid-December but haven’t gotten the official date.</p>
<p>My daughter got it too. She was really upset when she found out it wasn’t true. It really looked real. Do you know if everyone got it?</p>
<p>i got that massage today too. i called to make sure it was a glitch and they said that everonye got it.</p>

<p>They said it goes in the mail on Friday and will be posted on 12/15</p>
<p>My daughter received the acceptance message this morning while in school and she was so thrilled; she texted us and told all her friends. When she came home from school, she logged on to show me and it was no longer there. We didn’t know what to think… I assumed it may have just been put up earlier than they intended but that she was actually accepted. But now it sounds like all EDI candidates received an acceptance message this morning.</p>

<p>the ridiculous thing is that they didnt even apologize for the error. they just changed it from “Congratulations” to is “you will know in mid december.” at least tell us it was a glitch.</p>

<p>it was probably just bad timing. for me it was at like 12:15 today which most people are not checking at. i checked in the middle of class and it changed like 5 minutes later.</p>

<p>The same thing happened to our son on December 8th - the congratulations message was there for about 30 minutes and then it was gone. Admissions office admitted a technical glitch and apologized. Sure enough on the 15th/16th (we live in Germany), the real acceptance message was there. It did not and has not gone away this time. That mistake made for a very stressful evening as he too had started telling people. All’s well that ends well!</p>
