Yale just updated their undergrad admissions website today, the 7th, for us SCEA'ers. Activate your accounts fellaz cuz we're down to basically 1 week.

I saw that. I was happy that they updated their site for us. However, it also filled me with the feeling that I'm going to be deferred.

Ooh! That's the exact same thing we saw when we logged on with those blue postcards, but still. Something new.

Meanwhile, my Penn ED friend is going crazy. She'll find out Friday.

You're friend is lucky... I wish our decisions came out this Friday. The wait is just unbearable. After so many months of just thinking about this day... it's finally here. It's so weird to think we're actually going to KNOW in a week.

I KNOW!
How am I supposed to maintain good focus on my schoolwork!
Ahhh!
I...can...do....this...
I think I can..
I think I can..
I think I can..

Hrm, is the login thing working for all of you? Because when I put in my account ID and password, it says i entered the wrong account ID or password. Anyone?

It worked for me. Hmm..
Are you trying to activate your account, you mean?
I would suggest emailing / calling them.

what is the website address again for that? I have it somewhere but I can't find the sheet.

it's not working for me, ivyboy.

I believe the websites are:

www.yale.edu/admit
as the general admissions webpage

and www.yale.edu/admit/onlinedecisions
for activating your account

I had trouble too, ivyboy. Although I admit I'm not entirely sure what password I put in, I tried everything I thought I would have created for a password.

I definitely used the right password, but I'm not sure about the username and I'm too lazy to go check. It's <initial>.<lastname>.<number>, right? Still, I tried it a couple of different ways and neither worked.</number></lastname></initial>

Why are you guys trying to sign back into your accounts?
Once you have activated your account and created a password, there is no need to sign in until it's time to check decisions, right?

Yes, dtown.

Right, Chartreuse. However, I just want to make sure I know which password to use to check decisions.

I don't think there's a need to sign back in. I just wanted to make sure my password was working, but apparently it's not.

Great.

the website looks the same to me. what update are you talking about?

There's a little link at the top of the page about PINs and EA applicants.

Where do you go to "see if your password works?"
Is it the yale.edu/admit/manage page?
Oh no...I think mine isn't working either.
What is going on??

Well I'm glad to hear that it's not working for anyone else either. That's comforting.
