<p>I recently moved and switched to a different high school. The French class at my new school is extremely difficult for level 2. The teacher speaks French for 98% of the time (he is a French), and we have to reply in French as well. In a lot of foreign language classes, the teachers still primarily teach in English, like the french teacher at my old school.
I can understand some of what my teacher is saying but I do not know how to answer his questions at all. Considering participation counts a lot in his class, I really have to catch up.</p>
<p>So does anyone know any good website for learning French? Especially ones with listening exercises, reading comprehension, etc.</p>

<p>linguascope and languages online are good and they have listening exercises and games, but mostly they are aimed at students here and as class exercises.</p>
<p>My teacher did this same thing but it died down after the first few weeks. Get a French dictionary and learn all the things you don’t know. I mostly had trouble with stuff like (sorry no idea what part of speech it is or whatever) was, is, the, before, after. Like words in between adjectives and nouns and what not. Look up words you don’t know, etc. </p>
<p>Also, you could watch some French films or cartoons. I watched a French movie (kirikou I think, it’s on YouTube) and try to understand words and pronunciation . This all helped me a bunch. </p>
<p>I passed French II with an A an got a pretty good score on the exam. (granted the teacher gave us a ton of Slav since no one was at the level she wanted)</p>
