<p>Received an email yesterday after from Bruce Longworth, accepted into the BFA Acting Program!</p>

<p>Sorry ResrchMom! Took a bit for me to get back to you! My top 4 picks were DePaul, Hartt, Webster, and Montclair. I ended up getting into Hartt, Webster, and Montclair and waitlisted at DePaul. Right now Hartt and Webster are neck and neck (yes, it’s like a little race) for my number 1 pick. I plan on visiting Webster later this month and that will certainly decide my fate! :o</p>
<p>Good luck with your decision 13luyberm! Are you a guy or a girl? My D’s second choice is Webster after U of Minn/Guthrie (which she’s waitlisted to). If you get a chance to sit down and talk to Bruce when you’re visiting, I’d suggest you do so. He’ll answer all of your questions very thoroughly and intelligently.</p>
<p>BTW, I didn’t see any decisions posted on the website, so if that’s the case, I must not be looking in the right spot. My D got an email and was told to expect a letter in the mail, which we expect any day.</p>
<p>Finally, today my D’s acceptance package arrived from Webster Conservatory! </p>
<p>It’s very nice with a luggage tag and fancy certificate of acceptance to the BFA (U of Michigan is the only other school to do that for her). I like those kinds of things because I scrapbook. :)</p>
<p>Also, on the CC website, people are always saying Webster doesn’t have a wait list, but her letter says, “We had a large number of applicants for the class this year; this has given us the ability to select an outstanding ensemble” and “Because we had so many strong applicants, we also have a waiting list for the 2013 class.”</p>
<p>Congrats researchmom! We only got an email and then a FA package in the mail. (Pretty decent, but not anywhere near what we expected based on their net price calculator on their website). I saw on the mt Webster post that a current said this was the most competitive year and year with the least amount of acceptances. Good luck with your wait list/decision process!</p>
