Sooooo, I have my interview today at 6 and the email that my interviewer sent me last week has had me thinking REALLY hard. He mentioned in the email to: NOT dress up, and NOT bring anything extra (i.e. resume i assume). Now im wondering...is he playing head games? should i STILL dress up and STILL bring my resume.....I've been to about 5 interviews and they all have never asked me to do these things. what would you guys do? thanks for any feedback.

Maybe you're going to a nudist resort...

I would assume that he's saying it as he means it - no need to dress up or bring any additional materials (i.e. resume). Don't over think it. Just bring yourself and have fun. Good luck!

My friend's interviewer also told him not to dress up since they were meeting at a coffee shop.

i doubt hes playing mind games with you hes just trying to make it more comfortable. so dont dress up but dont dress like crap either just look presentable. as for the resume part ive had 4 interviews and 2 of them asked me to bring a resume and 2 said to bring nothing so thats not that out of the ordinary

thanks for the prompt responses you guys! yea, im totally over-thinking it. I'm just going to go, bring myself and my sense of humor, and have some fun. I was just alil nervous because this is not my first but SECOND interview with penn so im trying to make an impression, you kno? i looooooveee penn, and hopefully i'll be in their awesome nursing school this fall.

He's just giving you general advice. It's the same advice I think most people here would give you as well. Don't bring a bunch of extra stuff and don't overdress. Keep it casual, relax, and just have a good conversation.

Do not bring your resume.
