Do a lot of students go home on weekends and not stay on campus? Is there a lot to do on campus on weekends other than partying, and do students participate?

From what I have seen as a parent picking up/dropping off a visiting child, there is great participation - the area around the color run in the fall and field day more recently was packed with students. It looked like fun.
I went to a suitcase school (or it had that reputation). My friends and I never went home on the weekends and if we did, we felt like we missed out. Our group made our own fun and it was a blast! Don’t expect pre-packaged activities every weekend, jump in and make your own fun. You are a 1 hour bus ride from the Jersey Shore or Philly. Go have fun!
