We are planning to visit UCR this weekend to check out the campus for my admitted son. He needs to make his college decision soon and would like to find out as much about the campus as possible on his visit. UCR doesn’t offer weekend tours.
What are the places we should check out during our visit? Any advice on conducting a self-guided tour?
As a first year myself, I’d say there isn’t really much going on on the weekends (well, it’s a school after all) and almost everywhere is closed(like the HUB etc) definitely check out both Rivera and Orbach libraries. As for others, I’d definitely recommend a tour on the weekdays as there r so much more going on.
Thank you, @Lic8437. A weekday tour before May 1 isn’t going to work. My son is in school and I have to work. We are available to go this weekend and will make the best of it.
What’s your son’s major by any chance?
