What do you guys do on weekends?
I really, really, hate weekends because all of the ECs that I love take place on the weekdays. I'll try to stick a SciBowl practice or something onto a weekend day, but otherwise... it's usually just me sitting around in front of the comp doing absolutely nothing. I'll do my homework, and then it's empty time.
Then night comes and I try to go to sleep, but I can't because I feel bad for not doing anything the entire day.
I feel better even if I go out to a movie with friends, because at least then I spent time having fun.
So yeah, what do you guys do on the weekends? Additional question, how do you fight insomnia?

I stay with my cousins during the week because I take classes at a university near where they live, and on weekends I go back to my parents’ house. I have a piano lesson on Saturdays and I go to work at some point. I always have homework or studying to do because I procrastinate.

I don’t lie around trying to go to sleep. If I’m not tired, I go do something else until I am.

I hang out with all sorts of friends. It’s fun, and I feel like the social aspect is the best part of school.

Insomnia? Read a book when lying in bed. Your eyes will get heavy in no time.

On Fridays, I have an art class after school and chamber rehearsal at night. On Saturdays, I’m pretty much out the whole day - flute lessons, then debate, then I get home around 9 or 10. I usually stay up until 11 or 12 finishing one (relatively) time-consuming assignment, like a history outline. Sunday is the day I finish the rest of my homework.
