Hi everyone,
I was just wondering how much weight Georgetown puts on the interview. Mine went really well, and I’m a good fit overall for the school but lack anything that would make me completely stand out. Would a great interview be enough (theoretically) to nudge me in or does the school not put too much weight on it?
Thanks!
Georgetown is one of the only Top 20 schools that rates the interview as “important” within its Common Data Set. Most other elite schools only rate the interview as “considered.” Based on that, I would say a strong interview does hold some weight and could be a tipping point if all other credentials are competitive.
It probably carries more weight than it does at most other top schools.
