Precisely how much impact could an interviewer's recommendation make on one's application? Are their reviews held to high regards or not as substantive in comparison to the admissions committee's?

My Georgetown interviewer told me she was going to strive to get me in. Almost bordering on the brink of partiality, if you ask me, but who's complaining:). Does it really hold any water in the admissions process?

hahahaha sorry i thought you were referring to your interviewer's body weight when i read the title of the thread. i was intrigued lol.

and you're lucky you got a gtown interview...im applying as a transfer and i go to school in the middle of nowhere (cornell....) and I didnt get one :/

anyway, i'm sure it will hold some weight in admissions...especially if youre borderline in any way. gtown seems to value interviews a lot, considering theyre actually required for freshmen.
