<p>but when looking at college admissions books and lists, some of the times it will only list the CR/M composite score without the writing (the 1600 scale). even for the upper tier/ivy caliber schools. does this mean that our writing scores really do not matter? or just those publishers decided not to publish the average writing scores? so really, will the writing part of the sat affect admissions? or is it just the CR/M that is important?</p>
