How do I enter both my weighted and unweighted GPA?

bump?, 10char

You don’t. If your transcript will show a weighted GPA, that’s what you should self report on the common app, using the same scale.

So is the scale for a weighted gpa the highest possible weighted number, e.g., 5.0 on the basic 4.0 scale, or is 4.0 still the scale?

The regular scale is still the scale. For example, if I had a 4.23 weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, I would put my gpa as being on a 4.0 scale and weighted. Admissions will understand that.

My school reports the unweighted, but it calculates the weighted GPA (because it uses weighted ranking).

Which GPA should I report?
