Sorry to say… But if your high school weights on a 6 point scale, colleges will weight it their own way. In my school an honors class is multiplied by 1.1 and AP is multiplies by 1.2 and is used for class rank, and academic classes are just multiplied by 1 (same). I took Honors Biology, English, History, and Geometry and Academic Spanish, PE (duh), Health, and Band, but there were no honors classes for those as a freshmen
I also disagree with giving a 5 or 6 point scale because it gives those who want to major in the arts, a distinct disadvantage if they take band or choir because usually they’re academic level so they are at a disadvantage as opposed to those who want to major in core “academics” just because of their interests…
