Hello,

I have a slight problem and I need some advice on what to do. Over the summer, I interviewed at two of my top schools, and I gave in a resume to each one. On it, I put my weighted GPA, which at the time my unofficial transcript reported as 4.31.

A few months later, end of the summer, as I start working on my common app, I notice that my weighted GPA on my transcript said 4.33! I was a little freaked out at the change, but I wasn't too worried as at least my reported one on my resume was lower than what it now stated. Slightly annoyed, I changed it on my resume and I put 4.33 on my common app.

Fast forward to recently. I applied to three schools (All common app) early action, with the 4.33 reported as my weighted GPA. I decided tonight to edit and revise my resume a little bit, and just for fun I checked my online unofficial transcript again, to find that my weighted GPA changed AGAIN! Now it says 4.30.

What should I do? I'm going to see my guidance counselor Monday to find out what's going on, but would it be a good idea to email the schools to which I already applied and tell them that my self-reported GPA might be different than the transcript that they received?

Thank you!!
