ok so i’m interested to see how you guys calculate your “weighted” gpas. i know different schools do it different so i wanna figure out how i should calculate my weighted gpa

ask your guidance counselor how your school calculates it: its a different method for different schools, so we can't show you how to calculate it.

Just to reiterate, it entirely depends on the school. There's no standard method for weighting.

i know how my school does it, i just wanna know how your guys' schools do it

AP/Honors
A: 5.0
B: 4.0
C: 3.0
D: 2.0
F: 0.0

Regular
A: 4.0
B: 3.0
C: 2.0
D: 1.0
F: 0.0

"AP/Honors
A: 5.0
B: 4.0
C: 3.0
D: 2.0
F: 0.0"

On the other hand, some schools offer as little as 0.25 points for an honors/AP course and others don't differentiate at all.

then again, other schools offer as many as 6.0 points for AP classes...

My school goes to a 5 point scale for AP, but not honors. So:

A-5
B-4
C-3
D and lower- No credit

100 point scale
AP 1.2
Advance 1.15
Honor 1.1

mulitply those by 100...

mine is based on a percentage scale, and my school has three different levels of difficulties, B course (all honors courses), A course (all advanced courses and some extra honors courses like second language or so, some APs) honors classes (B courses)- average multiplied by 1.03
advanced classes (A course)- average multiplied by 1.06
and an advanced math/science program: ingenuity- average multiplied by something like 1.09 but i could be wrong
