Weighted vs. Unweighted GPAs

Which are colleges more concerned about? UW or W GPAs?

I am talking about Ivies and MIT + Stanford btw

Unweighted, I would believe, since the way GPAs are weighted and calculated depends on the specific school. The following is a decent read:

[Your GPA may be lower than you think - How and why colleges recalculate Grade Point Averages](http://facweb.eths.k12.il.us/leej/CCC_WebSite/Reports/GPA.pdf)

Besides, since “rigor of classes” is a considered part of your application, while “academic gpa” is another part, it makes sense to look at unweighted instead of weighted gpa.
