Weird class rank situation...

OK
So
Im #2 in my class of 369
but my unweighted GPA is 3.82 (i've gotten like 4 Bs and 3 B+s)

But the thing is that my high school ranks accorded to weighted GPAs so those Bs counted as As.

And the funny thing is my school is the academic school of my district (last year 3 were accepted to Stanford, 2 to MIT, 1 to harvard, 1 to Brown, 1 to Cornell, 1 to Johns Hopkins, 5 to UC Berkeley) etc.

And its not that my class isn't competitive either, because the people ranked around me have straight As and excellent test scores, its just that I have taken college classes that really helped my GPA, so I got bumped up.

Anyway, considering all this, are colleges going to discredit my entire class from my school b/c I've gotten 7 Bs but still am 2nd in the class?
By the way, I want to go to MIT, so try to think about them when answering this question...
Thanks for comments/questions... :)

Class rank based on weighted averages is very common, probably typical. When your guidance counselor fills out their report, they will give the colleges information about your class, the school, grading policies, etc so that the college will have a clear picture of where you stand in relation to your class. And colleges want to see you take the hardest classes available.

The #6 kid in my class is special-ed, no lie. I don't think colleges will discredit your school for that. At least, I hope not...
