The usual crowd- the op, Liist, romani, and a bunch of others (I'm only naming those I've seen on this thread). Like Platts said, the names blur together for me, so unless I actually see someones sn, I won't think of them.

I either 'like' someone here for 1 of 2 reasons:
1- really friendly, typical reason that has been listed here.
2- they're bitingly sarcastic or outlandish (ie some of Liist's comments; I typically don't agree with Easy over in the college life forum, but it really wouldn't be the same without him).

There are a few names that jump out at me for various reasons, like "Oh, she always gives good advice" or "He's hilarious" or "Ugh, she's kinda annoying." So yeah, I definitely recognize names...but considering them friends? No, not really.

That being said...CCers heading to UConn next year, talk to me, maybe we'll meet up. :D

Do any of you guys have a specific group called 'CCers' or something similar on aim? I have 22 people in this group, and they're all my friends. :)

Not especially, but I was never terribly active in High School Life and didn't make an effort to "get to know" people. However, several of the posters on my college's board last spring went on to become real-life friends (morangotango, FindFishFast, etc.).

Of course there are many I recognize and some that I respect, but none with whom I've really tried to establish a friendship.

^When I saw this thread, I was like, “what is this?!”

It was an interesting read, though. I suspect that the OP will not be checking this thread for responses, but if it matters, I don’t really consider anyone a friend until I meet them in person. However, exceptions do exist.

tbh i think i would get along with those people IRL and wouldve been pretty dece friends with them if i did know them IRL. i dont consider people i would dislike IRL “friends”.

I admit I do get happy and excited whenever I see a new post from an username that I haven’t seen in a long time (“omg, you still exist?! how’s everything going?”).
