weird question

Okay, so I'm a junior and will graduate (God-willing) in the year 2006. I have taken the SAT I three times (once in my sophomore year and twice my junior year.) If I take the SAT I again, will it look bad to Ivy League Schools? If I take the NEW SAT I (which some colleges now will only accept) will THIS look bad??? Desperately NEED input.

i don't think it would look bad if you took the NEW SAT 1, since, you know...it's new and all.
however, i'm not sure about the old SAT 1

yeah, i don't really know anything
haha
good luck

if you take the old sats 4 times, it screams obssessive compulsive and only cares about scores. if you take the new sats, it looks like you have other plans than just taking the sats

Eh I dunno. Still a strange case -- you're still taking the standardized test four times.

take the new sat. my english teacher is on the sat board and i asked him if it would be better to take both the old and new and he told me not to even waste my time with the old. he stated that colleges want people graduating in 06 to take the new sat. i mean why else would they come up with a new exam. sure they tell students that they could take both but they will prefer the new one over the old. the reason they came up with a new sat is because they belive it measures a student's capabilitites more accurately (it tells the admission people whether that person is capable of writing which is a major area in many fields of college.) my teacher is a pretty credible souce. he has been on the sat board for many many years and is a very intellectual person. if you wish i could name al his credentials, but i doubt i know them all.

Alright cool, nvm what I said then
