Weird Question...

Didn't really know where to post, but decided this would be as good a place as any...

Hi, I have an assignment for my philosophy class and I have to come up with at least 6 different places that echo. So far I have a cave, a mountain top (or range), and an empty bathroom (yes it's really bad). It doesn't seem like it should be this hard, but I just can't seem to think of anything else. Does anyone have any examples?

a basement?

i dont know....i dont have a basement

An auditorium

an empty gym

a long hallway

a lighthouse (it's in Enid Blyton's c'mon...)

omg... you read enid blyton's books? i grew up reading those!! (the ones with the five kids... they were all related, some siblings, the rest cousins. oh and there's a dog too, george's; i also read the ones with the seven kids...). but they were in bahasa indonesia/not in english. what are they (the two series) called in english? sorry i sound really dumb, hehehe, it's just i've never run into her books since i came to america and this brings back good childhood memories.

Grand (or any other) Canyon.

how about your concience? (i think that is misspelled)

Conscience*

Nassau Hall after everyone has left.

if ur in a sewer pipe =P

parking garage

OH!.....a tunnel...like the lincoln...you always honk your horn!

One of the famous princeton arches of course :p

(no i'm serious they echo nicely)

A church/cathedral (most fantastic echos, especially if you're singing a requiem)
Call-and-Response song form
Nostalgia

the Hollywood Bowl!!! Great acoustics in there :)

taurustorus, the ones with the five kids are called The Famous Five. I can't recall the ones with the seven kids, though; it's been so long! :) I used to read The Famous Five every day in the library until I finished up the whole collection... LoL...

The one with seven is called, with dazzling originality, the Secret Seven (at least, that's what I remember - it's been so long). I used to read them, until I found them a little repetitive. Still, they were fun while I was young enough to appreciate them (reminisces fondly).
