How difficult/safe would it be to get to the nearest Target via a bus and walking late at night. I won't mention the reason but anyone familiar with the 25th may understand.

why does it have to be target? (i'm guessing Halo 3?)

Targets get large quantities and don't have preorders. At this point if I preorder, I'll get it in November. All that matters is that I'm in line early enough(I can read a book for a couple hours in line).

i camped out for the Wii at the culver city target. it helps that there were a lot of people there (maybe 15-20 when i got there, more later on) and a security guy driving around in a golf cart. but i had someone drive me there instead of taking a bus and walking so cant comment on that part.

not sure how big the halo line will be, but it would be pretty scary if you were the only one...

and from what i remember (been to both), the culver city target (a bit farther) is less ghetto than the la cienega target...if that helps. the culver city target also had like a short wall on the side (cart return?) which helps shield the wind and bullets from potential drive by's (half kidding).

(can you tell i like parenthesis?)

just get it at the best buy which is basically walking distance... albei a pretty long walk. shouldnt be too crazy with everyone already moved in so students are usually around

Vtec- my friends and I camped out at best buy culver city, however.. we decided to go home since they had about 100 or so of the Wii's.. we came back early in the morning and got it alright.
