So I want to major in a finance/business related field when I go to college next year, but I am kinda worried about some parts of my schedule so far:
My choice of math courses is probably going to end up being really important, so do you guys think that taking Pre-calc, Calc AB, Stats, then Linear algebra senior year is some kind of a turn-off for admissions officers at schools like Uc’s, UPenn, NYU, USC?
I also took AP Bio freshman year, then because i did bad on the AP (3), my mom made me take Honors Bio through my school’s summer academy JUNIOR year lol to refine my bio knowledge. How will that look?
In addition, I took Physics back in freshman year, then it became AP Physics 1 my junior year. This year, my senior year, the school wouldnt let me go to Physics C, and so I’m back in “AP Physics 1”. Isn’t that like taking the same class twice, freshman and senior years?
Lastly, I’m in this college level Engineering 102 course my sixth hour that is a partnership class with University of Arizona. I think its pass/fail, not a,b,c,d,f, so it will drag my gpa down to a 4.77/5 overall. It will also look like I only took 5 classes, but the last one is just a college style course. Do you guys think the AO will understand?
