Hi, everyone! So I'm looking to apply to Vassar EDII next year and I guess I'm posting this now because I'm getting all my stuff ready for the Apps this summer and also working on my supplements for Vassar, and I just wanted to get an idea of where I stand in the vast pool of prospective students applying.

Ethnicity: Malaysian
Gender: Female

SAT: 1960 (one sitting) I think I'm going to sit one more in November and get a better combined score breaking the 2000s.

SATIIs: Have not taken them yet, going to in October for Math 1, French, and English

TOEFL: 114 (I don't think they'll be needing my scores on this one, I've only ever been learning in English, and my first language is English but just in case, since I am an international expat)

GPA: 3.6 (unweighted), and probable exceeding 4.0 weighted since I am on the IB program. (so all the grades on my higher subjects, say an A or a 4.0, would go up by 1.0 and become a 5.0, all my standards would go up by .5)

IB COURSE LOAD
Highers --> History, Theater, English Lit.
Standards --> Physics, Math, French B

ECs: Founded Int'l Film Club (freshman), Varsity Lacrosse (freshman), Secretary of Village Way Community Service Club (freshman), Varsity Drama troupe (sophomore, junior, and almost guaranteed senior position), President of Thespian Honors Society (junior, senior), co-founded Improv Club (sophomore, junior, senior), Kalimantan Service Trip (summer of this year), volunteer frequently (Houston Food Bank, MS150, Walk MS, producing charity shows for Red Nose Foundation), Multimedia and Design 'Blue Umbrella' Club Vice-President (junior, senior), all high school drama productions (student devised and teacher directed), Marine Conservation Club (junior, senior), Big Siblings (junior), Fashion Rationale (freshman), photographer for Yearbook (freshman), Animal Welfare (sophomore), Global Issues Network presenter (junior, possibly senior year if I have time).

^ I'm thinking only about a handful of those I'm really gonna play up in my Common App, and I may need help with that. I'm looking mostly to highlight my devotion to drama as I will be considering a Film-Drama or Drama-Media Studies double major. :)

My recommendations are pretty stellar right now. I have one from my IB Higher Level Drama teacher and my Theory of Knowledge (compulsory IB course) teacher, who also taught me Modern Euro history in my sophomore year. I'm super excited and nervous since Vassar is my ultimate first-choice right now.
