I was accepted last night and I’m in the same boat as illinoisgirl – Michigan is one of my top choices, but I won’t know for sure where I’m attending until the rest of my admissions decisions come in April!

most of you guys seem to be from michigan, im from the bay and i got into CoE. michigan is a really good school, but im scared about the weather. i know you cant compare it to san jose weather, but does it really snow like 6 months a yr!? Is ann arbor a really big town? diversity? any objective advice or comments are appreciated!

illinoisgirl324,many thanks for your reply. i hope i will get the same message from michigan, like you. while, waiting is a terrible experience, but i have to do.

@hr4990 It does not snow six months a year. In a bad year, you may get snow through March, but Michigan is an area of the country that experiences definitive changes of season. It gets very cold here in the winter, but it also gets pretty hot in the summer and the fall and spring have a nice perfect in-between.

New Yorker here, and I’m most psyched about taking the classes. I know Michigan has some very, verrry eccentric ones ;)

High school as a second-semester senior is just one incredible drag; you guys have no idea just how much I want to get out of this cesspool.

michieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee<3 super exciteddddd!

@recharge I believe we’re all second semester seniors on this thread (3rd trimester in my case :D) and we all know somewhat how you feel. It’s time to move on already!
