I can't find the Facebook group. Will you link to it here?

Thanks!

Login | Facebook << that should work.

I don't know... They told me that I would get the letter by this week, but I haven't gotten anything although I should get it by today. I am really mad and exhausted...

I know it's hard, but be patient...good things come to those who wait, hopefully! The admissions office is dealing with some new challenges with the Commons initiative happening next year, but I'm sure you'll hear soon!! :)

=) They told me that they sent a decision mail today. So, I am getting it on this Thursday!!!!

anyway, I am becoming nervous again... I have doubted myself if I am considered to be at least "okay" applicant to the Admission Office... I have tried my best to get GPA of 3.9 in my current college, U of R. However, GPA is only thing that I am good at....

Hang in there, Aspen. I have my fingers crossed for good news! Let us know ...

oh... I can't wait until I get to see my decision tomorrow morning. fingers cross x (>_<) x

^__^ YES!! I got in!

Congrats!!!! We can't wait to see you here in the fall!!!!!! :)

Congratulations, Aspen! You must be so relieved to have finally heard.

I just got my acceptance, I'm deciding between Colgate and Vandy. This is kind of a dumb question, but how many classes does the average student take per term, 3 or 4?

4 classes per each semester. =3

one more question, are there any distribution requirements? hopefully not, i googled it and nothing came up.

Yes, there is the AXLE curriculum.

Most students take between 4 and 6 classes, normally 5. Most classes are 3 credit hours, so 4 would put you at the bare minimum to be a full time student (12 hours), while 5 would put you at 15 hours which is normal, and 6 would put you at 18 which in my opinion would be way too much...but that's just me. Some people definitely do 17 or 18 hours.

If you're in A&S, you'll have the AXLE requirements, whereas if you're in Peabody you'll have to complete the Liberal Education Core. I believe that engineers do not have much of a general education requirement and I have no idea about Blair students...hope that helps!
Mal :)

o.0 I thought it would be 4 credit hour for each class.

I am excited!

I'm comin in as junior in the fall, gonna visit first in about 3 weeks. I'm really pretty excited. I didn't think I would get in as I only had a 3.3 at Skidmore but luckily GPA isn't the only thing they take into consideration.

I'm currently sending in all my course descriptions and syllabi from my past classes for credit transfer review. Anyone know how good of a chance there is that most if not all of my credits will transfer over? How strict are they with that? Thanks

bcooney24--I'm currently doing the same. I've heard they are comparatively lenient and helpful. But we'll see.
