Welcome New College Rep, UChicago, from the University of Chicago

Please join me in welcoming our newest College Rep, UChicago, from the University of Chicago!

As a reminder, our College Reps are individuals that we have taken reasonable steps to verify as being from the school they represent. (If you find a CC member claiming to be an admissions person at a college and that member isn't flagged as a College Rep, please let us know so that we can verify his/her status.)

As an matter of courtesy to our College Reps (who have real-world jobs and are incredibly busy during the admissions season!), please don't post pleas for help naming the individual (e.g., "UChicago - Need Answer ASAP!!!" is what NOT to do - ask your question in a new thread with a clear and specific title, and you'll get input from CC members and, perhaps, from the resident College Rep if he/she has something to contribute.)

Say hello if you like, but please don't ask questions in this thread - start a new one with a relevant title.

Welcome. I am looking forward to hearing your input on this forum. The UChicago PSAC has been really helpful and seems to check in with us frequently.

UChicago – welcome to the forum :)

Hello UChicago! Welcome!

Welcome to the forum! It’s great to have someone here to answer about the uncommon admissions process. :)

Welcome, and we might just have to ask you some specific questions on another thread -
and if U of Chi had an engineering school, then I know I would.

Welcome UChicago! Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions! :D

Welcome! Thank you for offering your services.

just to verify, these reps are only with undergrad admissions. completely unrelated to graduate and professional schools?

Welcome, UChicago. My friends’ daughter is having a wonderful experience at your school. She was ready to get out of her small Western MA home town, and U of C. is offering her so much.

@flemmyd- yes, our rep is specifically affiliated with UChicago undergraduate admissions.

My d has done three summer classes at the univ. She has got A’s in all the undergrad classes. What is the probability of getting regular admission?

Welcome!! My s is a 2014 EA admitted. He’s looking forward to attending in the fall.

Hi all,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

If you’d like to ask me questions, please do so:

Best,
The Office of College Admissions

I’d like to use my first post to welcome the newest official representative of UChicago. Thanks for being here.

So happy to have you here!

Welcome new UChicago rep! My daughter is a first year who got tons of terrific advise from the CC folks during her admissions process. Good luck as you begin to assist the next class in this worthwhile (and at times frustrating) venture.

Welcome ! :)

Welcome! I am extremely glad to have a rep here.
