<p>Taking it easy is OK, just realize that no one is going to check to see if you are doing any homework, they expect that either are doing it or don't need to. Also don't expect much if any kind of a review prior to your first test. When I was a freshman I pretty much blew off homework the first 6 weeks and then came midterms and I was dead meat. It was not pretty.
Each person has to figure out for him or herself how much you need to study for different classes. Some seem to take a huge amount of work and other ones you can completely blow off until test time. It all depends on you and the class.</p>
